Our Story
My name is Sandra Mahabir. I was born on a small island in the Caribbean called Trinidad and Tobago. In 1984 I started my own business with a friend. A retail store called “Funtime Balloons and Bears” was located in Capitol Hill in the heart of Seattle Washington. We carried party supplies and delivered balloons with teddy bears in a basket. After a few years, we changed the name to “Bearadise” to reflect our large inventory of teddy bears and the growing popularity of Teddy Bears as “collectibles” for adult collectors I recently decided to change the name of my website to “North Seattle Balloons” to reflect the reality of this particular chapter of my life. In the spirit of “keeping it simple” “less is more” and “loving the journey” I am limiting the radius of my Balloon Decorating and Balloon Delivery service, to locations that are North of Seattle and short distances beyond, with certain exceptions and considerations.
Why Air Filled Balloons Are Now The New Normal For Balloon Deliveries And Decor
The availability of Helium has shifted in the past 10 years, This natural gas is decreasing in supply. The war in Russia and Ukraine has curtailed production and it is a necessary element needed for the successful operation of all MRIs Balloon companies can no longer assume it will affordable and available when needed in the same same way it was for many many years. My fellow balloon artists have become very creative in designing balloons for parties and events that do not use helium. Since these new ideas have only recently become popular, my portfolio is limited( as I am old school:) and I have settled for collecting as many photos as I can from outside sources. These ideas are available for me to share with you on a personal consultation but with caution that I may or may not have permission to use these photos on my website. I will cautiously put a few out there with the appropriate disclaimer in the hope that is will give you an idea of what is possible but is in no way limited to what can be created. Their will be certain limitations in creating exact duplication since certain items with be limited to stock availability but all efforts will be made to replicate what you want Here are some ideas of Air filled Balloons that make great gifts and beautiful decor and last a whole lot longer.
